Photo Of The Day: Suppressed B&T APC9 with Aimpoint CompM5b

Let’s kick off this Photo Of The Day with a classic image, except it was too cold and wet to take the photo with socks only.

Here we have a Swiss B&T APC9 in 9×19 mm combined with a Swedish Aimpoint CompM5b Red Dot and 3x Magnifier.

The suppressor, or silencer as they prefer to call it, is from A-Tec in Norway.

The Aimpoint CompM5b offers a great possibility to change the drop-offs, as you go from supersonic to subsonic rounds for instance.

The 9×19 mm Luger may not be a long range shooter, but the red dot works great for 300 Blackoutfor instance.

There’s a catcher for spent brass, made by B&T and mounted to the Picatinny rail on the side.

This also reduces the noise from an already reasonably quiet system.

There’s also a lamp and laser from Surefire. The collapsible stock makes this APC9 very compact.

All in all this is a pretty sweet system I had the possibility to try out.

With heavy subsonic rounds it was very quiet.
