The Skoda Kodiaq ranks #3 in Moldova both in April and YTD.
Based on data shared with us by our Central European partner CE Auto, new car sales in Moldova rise 8.7% year-on-year in April to 635, leading to a year-to-date tally up 25.3% to 2,344. The models podium is unchanged for the third month in a row: the Kia Sportage dominates again with 8.2% share ahead of the Dacia Duster (-29.8%) and Skoda Kodiaq (+20.8%). In fact the Top 7 is entirely composed of SUVs, with the Toyota RAV4 (+625%), Suzuki Vitara (-37.2%), Peugeot 3008 and Toyota Yaris Cross in tow. The latter scores its first Top 10 finish in Moldova. The Haval H6 makes a rare appearance at #10.
