A new teaser video of the Nissan Patrol Warrior has been released, giving us a better look at its exterior.
Premcar’s modified version of the full-size Patrol SUV is due here late in 2023.
The Australian firm has worked with Nissan before, developing the rugged Navara Pro-4X Warrior.
Based on the latest video, the Patrol Warrior appears to be based on the entry-level Ti owing to the position of its front fog lights and the lack of a sunroof and roof rails.
Premcar won’t make changes to the Patrol’s 5.6-litre V8, but it will make changes to its suspension set-up as well as the wheels and tyres.
Previous teasers have also shown new Mercedes-AMG G-Class-style side-exit exhaust outlets.
The large SUV is built in Japan and then modified at Premcar’s facility in Melbourne, Australia.
The Nissan Patrol uses a naturally aspirated 5.6-litre petrol V8 engine that produces 298kW of power and 560Nm of torque. It’s mated with a seven-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive.
Premcar says the development program for the Patrol Warrior has involved additional recruitment, expansion and investment.
