YETI is bring out a brand new cast iron skillets, dubbed to be the “last skillet you’ll ever need”. This new line of YETI Cast Iron skillets is designed to elevate your culinary experience while you are out in the wild. The new YETI Cast Iron skillets are available in three sizes, 8-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch. The 8-inch is the perfect size to sauté up some sides or craft a campsite cobber. The 10-inch skillet is a versatile pan great for searing up some backstrap medallions or roasting up some potatoes. The 12-inch, the largest of the three, is perfect for making a thick crust on that ribeye you packed in or roasting up some veggies for camp dinner.
YETI worked hand-in-hand with Dennis Powell and the broader Butter Pat team to identify new manufacturing and supply chain partners based in the United States that have allowed us to scale production and efficiency to bring greater value to our customers, without sacrificing on the promise of quality, durability and performance that made Butter Pat beloved amongst cast iron enthusiasts around the world.
Whichever size you choose, they all come with a smooth polished surface, akin to vintage cast iron pans, and come pre-seasoned and ready to use out of the box. Expect incredibly even heat distribution for excellent cooking evenness. These well-thought-out and expertly crafted skillets are built to be heirlooms and should last for generations to come. While the manufacturing process remains the same, we’ve also taken the opportunity to innovate on the original Butter Pat pan to improve the user experience in several key areas, including adding a longer handle for comfort, enhancing the seasoning, along with making minor adjustments to the overall aesthetic of the skillet.
