Prepared For The Most Buttery Clean Pores and skin of Your Life?

The Skinny Confidential Butter Brush is here to give you just that.

After 10 years of dry brushing (seriously 10 years, see here, here, here, and here) and even using a dish brush because she was so sick of limp dick bristles, Lauryn and The Skinny Confidential team has created the most elevated dry brush you’ll find.

With a big, long silicone handle for hard to reach areas and a intense, natural bristles, Butter Brush will give you the best dry brush of your life.

So if you’re new to this, let’s go over exactly what we’re talking about.

WHAT IS DRY BRUSHING:

It’s an Ayurvedic practice that has been around FOREVER. It’s thought that exfoliating the skin with natural bristles in a specific pattern helps your skin eliminate toxins through the pores. This happens because you’ve removed all your dead skin cells. Makes sense, right. That also means your body care products (Agent Nateur body serum anyone?) absorb better and your skin can breathe.

BENEFITS OF DRY BRUSHING:

1. STIMULATES LYMPHATIC SYSTEM

In your body, your lymphatic system is the system responsible for eliminating cellular waste products. Hundreds of miles of lymphatic tubules allow waste to be collected from your tissues and transported to your blood for elimination, a process referred to as lymphatic drainage.

When your lymphatic system is not working properly, waste and toxins can build up & make you sick. Lymphatic congestion is a major factor leading to inflammation and disease. By stimulating your lymphatic system and helping it release toxins, dry skin brushing is a powerful detoxification aid.

2. EXFOLIATES

Dry skin brushing removes dead dry skin, improves appearance, clears your clogged pores, & allows your skin to breathe.

3. INCREASES CIRCULATION

When you dry brush your skin, it increases circulation to your skin, which encourages the elimination of metabolic waste.

4. REDUCES CELLULITE

Dry skin brushing may help to soften hard fat deposits below the skin while distributing fat deposits more evenly. This may help to diminish the appearance of cellulite.

Dry brushing is also said to help reduce cellulite by removing toxins that may break down connective tissue, although some believe the effect is temporary (and a result of skin becoming more plump and swollen after brushing). The Huffington Post reported: “when we’d heard dry skin brushing was an effective method for reducing cellulite, we knew we had to include it in our anti-cellulite road test. Sure enough, it was indeed one of the more successful ways to smooth away less-than-perfect spots on your legs.”

5. RELIEVES STRESS

The act of dry brushing has been described as meditative (especially if you do it in a quiet space and may reduce muscle tension, calm your mind, and even relieve stress. Many compare it to a light whole-body massage.

6. IMPROVES DIGESTION & KIDNEY FUNCTION

Dry skin brushing may go even deeper, helping to support your digestion and organ function. According to one skin care and spa expert: “…many naturopathic doctors use dry brushing to help with bloating because massaging the lymph nodes helps the body shed excess water and toxins. One of the immediate effects of dry brushing is smoother skin, but it can also help improve digestion, kidney function, & more.”

7. IT’S INVIGORATING

Many people become “addicted” to dry skin brushing (in a good way like Lauryn) because it simply feels so good. Along with glowing & tighter skin, regular dry skin brushers report feeling invigorated after a quick session.

HOW TO DRY BRUSH:

Use your Butter Brush as the first step in your bathing routine. Starting at the feet, use short, quick strokes moving upwards towards the heart. Continue to brush the entire body this way, using medium pressure on arms and legs, and lighter pressure on the torso, thighs, and neck. Then, carry on with your shower or bath.

THEN, to really elevate your body routine, post-shower slather on some Agent Nateur body serum and use your Le Spoon body sculptor in the exact same way you use your dry brush. This is THE ultimate morning routine if you want to start your day ENERGIZED beyond.

HOW TO CLEAN BUTTER BRUSH:

We recommend you clean your Butter Brush once a week to get rid of bacteria from dead skin cells. Rinse it off in the sink or shower, use a gentle cleanser (like your facial cleanser or your body wash) and get a good lather going. Rinse it thoroughly and hang to dry. Voilá.

This combo of dry brushing and using Le Spoon has made Lauryn’s cellulite disappear and, like we said, it feels so damn good. You’ll be addicted, in the best way ever. In fact, the two tools work so well together, we just had to bring you a Body Kit. You can buy Butter Brush and Le Spoon together. You’ll get both of the most effective body tools delivered right to your doorstep, in a pretty pink box to boot.

Cheers to buttery, silky skin.
