Roses are red, violets are blue.
Valentine’s Day is upon us, so try a romantic hotel getaway or two.
While the above refrain might not make us the next poet laureate anytime soon, we can’t help but feel a little bit of romance now that it’s February. Crackling fireplaces in a hotel suite, a cocktail or two or even a trip to the spa with friends are all favorites among TPG staffers.
We’ve gone out to find some of the best romantic packages offered up this Valentine’s Day, Singles Awareness Day or however you like to celebrate a certain day in February.
Some are romantic-themed dinners, some are loving getaways aimed at you and the four-legged member of the family, and others are getaways that likely cost more than your first car.
Some even extend through the end of the year — because why should those tingly feelings of love end just because Cupid and the Valentine’s Day display at your local CVS have flown away?
