Qatar Airways beginning early summer 2025 will add two new South American destinations, the carrier announced Wednesday.
Flights will operate weekly from Hamad International Airport in Doha to Bogotá El Dorado International Airport in Colombia, then continue to Caracas Simon Bolivar International Airport in Venezuela. The return flight from Caracas will operate nonstop to Doha, according to Qatar.
The new destinations will be Qatar’s 15th and 16th in the Americas and will make the carrier the only airline to offer nonstop flights from the Middle East to Colombia, and the only Middle Eastern airline operating in Venezuela, according to Qatar.
Flights will operate with Boeing 777-200LR aircraft configured with 42 business-class seats and 234 economy seats.
