Renault (+61.2%), Volkswagen (+113%) stand out in optimistic market – Finest Promoting Automobiles Weblog


Renault holds 14.9% of the Moroccan market in July.

Moroccan new vehicle sales accelerate their growth in July at +12% year-on-year to 13,115. This includes 12,079 Passenger Cars (+14%) and 1,036 LCV (-7.6%). The YTD PC volume tilts into positive e at +0.6% to 86,306 units. In the PC brands ranking, Dacia (-6%) remains the standout leader at 22.8% share but lodges another weak performance. In contrast Renault (+61.2%) is in great shape at #2. The Top 5 brands are in the same order as June and YTD, with Hyundai (+20.2%), Peugeot (+24.1%), a surging Volkswagen (+113%) in tow. Citroen (+3.5%) overtakes a struggling Opel (-20.3%). Below, Seat (+121.9%), Mercedes (+76.3%), Skoda (+29.1%) and Suzuki (+340%) impress.
