Savage Arms Introduces NEW Single Shot Adapter for Axis & 110 Rifles

Savage Arms has announced the introduction of their new Single Shot Adapter for Axis and Model 110 rifles. Now, all of the individuals from more restrictive states have a better option for being able to participate in various hunting seasons instead of purchasing a new rifle. They can simply deploy the Savage Arms firearms they already own with a simple magazine change. Whether you own straight-wall cartridges or more traditional hunting rounds, Savage Arms has you covered.

Savage Arms Introduces NEW Single Shot Adapter for Axis & 110 Rifles

Westfield, Massachusetts – October, 2023 – Savage Arms releases a Single Shot Adapter for its most popular rifles in time for deer seasons across the country. This Savage accessory for Axis and 110 models converts rifles with a traditional detachable magazine into single shot rifles. This conversion enables hunters to use Savage centerfire rifles in states that allow straight-wall cartridges (or other calibers) in single shot configurations for deer hunting.

“We’re thrilled to introduce the Single Shot Adapter into our lineup of accessories,” said Beth Shimanski, Director of Marketing at Savage Arms. “We want to ensure that hunters get the most use out of their Savage firearms, and the Single Shot Adapter allows hunters to take advantage of today’s modern cartridges in historically restricted deer hunting seasons in several states.”

The Single Shot Adapters are available in four configurations – one for each configuration of rifle that Savage produces that use the Savage flush fit magazines. The Single Shot Adapter is not compatible with rifles that take ACIS magazines. With these adapters a hunter can use a Savage rifle chambered in popular options like 350 Legend, 400 Legend or 450 Bushmaster to hunt deer in states like Illinois. No modifications are needed to the rifle to use the Single Shot Adapter.

While the Savage Arms Single Shot Adapter might not have widespread adoption, it will be extremely valuable in the states in which hunters and huntresses sorely need it. We might not agree with a lot of the legislation that is passed in our states, but we surely should not allow it to inhibit our passion for the outdoors and hunting.
