Sazgar Haval H6 in Prime 10 – Greatest Promoting Automobiles Weblog

The Sazgar Haval H6 breaks into the Pakistani Top 10.

Sales of new locally-produced light vehicles in Pakistan continue to implode in June at -78.7% year-on-year to just 6,034, according to local association PAMA. The H2 volume is down -70.2% to 42,764. Behind this freefall are grave production issues linked with the non-availability of CKD parts due to Letter of Credit unavailability. Letter of Credit are required to import CKD parts. Suzuki (-81.2%) climbs to an outstanding 49.9% share despite losing more ground than the market, with Toyota (-70.7%) at 30.6% share and Hyundai (-70.2%) at 9.2% “resisting” somewhat. Honda (-92.1%) follows ahead of newcomer Sazgar Haval. Note Changan and Kia do not report sales figures to PAMA but are reported to be quite successful in this market. Model-wise, the Suzuki Alto (-74.4%) remains way above its YTD level at 31.7% share vs. 18.2% halfway through the year. Like in May, four Toyotas are estimated to follow: the Corolla, Hilux, Yaris and Fortuner. The Sazgar Haval H6 breaks into the Top 10 at #10.
