The Microtech Standard Issue (MSI) is the newest type of folding pocket knife made by Microtech.The MSI will be show for the first time at SHOT Show 2023.
Microtech are probably most famous for their automatic knives, but they make excellent folding knives as well.
According to Microtech, the MSI has been designed to become your favorite folder.
The MSI’s blade is made from an exclusive stainless steel called Bohler M390MK, which keeps its edge and resists corrosion very well.
The MSI’s handle is five inches long and made of carbon fiber scales, a steel frame, and a titanium backspacer to make the MSI lightweight, comfortable, and durable.
The MSI uses Microtech’s Ram-Lok system and the “X” button on both sides is to assure a good grip.

Say hello to the MSI! The MSI, or Microtech Standard Issue, is the latest in our collection of manual folders. Designed for heavy-duty use, this piece combines utility and style.
The blade is made of M390MK Steel, which was produced especially for Microtech, and the handle features a RAM-LOK Bar Lock and our Iconic X Button on both sides.
The G10 and carbon fiber handle options contain hardened steel liner plates, which gives the knife its rigidity.
Complete with a titanium backspacer and reversible pocket clip, this folder is a beautiful addition to the Microtech family.
