[SHOT 2024] Benchmade’s 25th Anniversary Edition 710 Axis Lock Knife

Benchmade has unveiled its special 25th Anniversary editions of the 710 Axis Lock knife, a significant model in the company’s history as it was the first to feature the now-famous ambidextrous Axis Lock, a mechanism designed by Williams-McHenry. Among the three editions released, two are noteworthy for their limited production runs, and each knife within these runs is marked with its own unique serial number.

The top-tier Gold Class 710 edition, distinguished by its refined materials and craftsmanship, will be available for $1500. A step below in the hierarchy, the limited edition Blue Class 710 carries a price tag of $600. There’s also a nonlimited Blue Class edition, which is the most accessible of the trio, priced at $450. These commemorative knives are slated for release in the second to third quarter of the current year.

Product specs
– Three Editions
– Two Limited Runs featuring MagnaCut Steel Blades
– Non-Limited Blue Class with an S90V Blade
– Axis Locking Mechanism
– MSRP ranges from $450 to $1500, depending on the edition

As Benchmade celebrates 25 years of its iconic 710 model, these anniversary editions not only pay homage to the original design but also showcase the brand’s commitment to innovation and excellence. The integration of modern steel variations and the preservation of the famed Axis Lock are a testament to Benchmade’s ongoing dedication to delivering cutting-edge knives.

Customers interested in these anniversary knives should plan their purchase timeline accordingly, as the Q2 to Q3 launch window approaches. The limited nature of the higher-end models suggests that availability may be tight, with the collectible nature driving strong interest from knife enthusiasts and collectors alike.
