Lexus Australia has announced a special edition version of the UX small SUV is set to arrive in local showrooms from mid-April.
Dubbed the Lexus UX250h F Sport Design Special Edition, this model is priced from $58,120 before on-road costs and is limited to 250 units.
This price slots it between non-hybrid UX200 F Sport and the hybrid UX250h Sports Luxury, which are currently priced at $57,495 before on-roads and $60,850 before on-roads, respectively.
The UX250h F Sport Design Special Edition receives a “bespoke” grille, front and rear bumpers, and 18-inch wheels with run-flat tyres an an F-Sport Design badge.
It also has black roof rails and side mirror caps, body-coloured wheel arches and a two-tone roof. The latter of these features is a first for the UX.
Inside the special edition model adds a panoramic sunroof, colour head-up display, and a smart key card.
There’s also NuLuxe leather-accented upholstery finished in either Black or White Ash hues, along with Washi paper ornamentation.
The UX250h F Sport Design Special Edition is available exclusively with the front-wheel drive version of the brand’s petrol-electric hybrid powertrain.
This comprises 2.0-litre petrol engine producing 107kW/188Nm and an electric motor producing 80kW/202Nm. Total system output is 135kW of power, with a claimed combined fuel consumption of 4.5L/100km.
The special edition Lexus UX is available in six “exclusive two-tone” exterior paint colours. These include White Nova, Sonic Chrome, Sonic Iridium, Caliente, Carnelian, and Cobalt Mica.
Like the rest of the 2023 Lexus UX range, the UX250h F Sport Design Special Edition comes with Lexus Connected Services which allows owners to access a range of information and perform functions such as remotely locking and unlocking the vehicles.
Owners also get a three-year subscription to the Lexus Encore owner benefits program which offers things like complimentary loan vehicles when you car is being serviced, 24-hour roadside assistance, among other benefits.
