Single Vs. Multi-Tire Air Hoses

With All The Kits Available, Which Is Best For You?

Airing up your tires after a long day (or down to start) on the trail can be one of the most dreaded and time-consuming parts of off-roading, especially when you’re tired and ready to get home. Couple a weak air compressor with a single-tire air hose, and this process becomes borderline unbearable. Not trying to exaggerate, but time and ease of use is important.

MORRFlate’s multi-tire air hoses help cut down the amount of time and effort it takes to air up all of your tires by inflating them all at once. This not only saves you time but also equalizes your tire pressure and reduces fatigue from having to constantly bend down to check each tire. For those reasons, that makes this kit a compelling upgrade for any off-roader.

Key Differences

Single Tire Vs. MORRFlate Multi-Tire Air Hoses

While it may not seem like it, there are several benefits to using a multi-tire air hose over a single-tire one.

Being able to connect your compressor to all of your tires at once frees up time for you to get your vehicle ready to head home, take down your campsite, or just about anything else.

There’s also the added benefit of ensuring all of your tires have equal pressure. This helps minimize the chances of uneven tire wear and even blowing a tire in extreme circumstances. If your vehicle is equipped with a digital TMPS readout, you’re OCD will also be satisfied.

It’s nice to not have to drag and stretch a single coiled air hose around my entire vehicle as well. This can be especially annoying in dusty or muddy environments.

How To Use

MORRFlate Manifold Slide Valve

Using the MORRFlate hoses is super easy. There’s a manifold and gauge in the middle with the hoses attached to the sides. The manifold is where you will be controlling the airflow and monitoring your PSI.

To allow airflow through the manifold, slide the green valve collar up. Conversely, slide the valve down to cut off the airflow.

Airing Up

Once the PSI guage on the manifold detects air running through, it will automatically turn on. Once at your desired pressure simply turn off your compressor, close the slide valve, and then disconnect the hoses from your tires.

Airing Down

If you are deflating your tires, keep the valve closed until you have connected the hoses to all four tires. Then, open the valve to let the air out. Once you are at the desired PSI, close the valve and disconnect the hoses.

MORRFlate Review

The Quad+ Air Hose has been a game changer on my off-road and overlanding trips. Paired with the MORRFlate FiveSix PSI Pro, I can both inflate and deflate my tires much faster than before. The time I’m able to free up allows me to relax and get ready for a day out on the trails and get home faster after a long day.

The user experience over my previous single tire air hose is night and day. If you’re in the market for a new air setup on your adventures or just looking for a way to save time so you can enjoy your adventures more, I highly recommend picking up a hose kit!
