Air transport technology provider SITA has appointed former IBM executive Shawn Gregor as president of the Americas.
Gregor, who most recently was IBM’s VP and industry leader for travel and transportation, will lead SITA’s operation and strategy across the Americas, and his “extensive experience and proven track record in the transportation and IT sectors make him an ideal fit to drive our growth and innovation” in the region, according to Carlos Kaduoka, SITA head of business strategy and transformation for the Americas. Kaduoka had been serving as interim president for the Americas over the first half of the year.
Prior to his time at IBM, Gregor worked for both Infosys Technologies Limited and Accenture.
