Skoda (+117.3%), Dacia (+99%) shine in market surging 40.4% – Greatest Promoting Automobiles Weblog


Skoda sales are up 117.3% year-on-year in April.

Belgian new car sales grow by a whopping 40.4% year-on-year in April to 39,872 units as April 2022 was down -23.6% on the year prior. The year-to-date tally is up 30.3% to 171,356. The Top 4 best-selling carmakers all trail the market, with BMW (+24.7%) in the lead again and the only one crossing the 10% share milestone. Volkswagen (+34.8%) follows at #2 while Audi (+30%) jumps two spots on March to #3 ahead of Mercedes (+36.1%). Peugeot (+48.7%) is very dynamic while in 6th place, Renault (+40.6%) follows the market. The biggest gainers are below: Skoda (+117.3%), Dacia (+99%), Mini (+98.2%), Opel (+57.8%), Nissan (+52.2%) and Volvo (+49.8%) all shine. Further down, Tesla is up 4722.2% to rank #17 vs. #15 year-to-date.
