Skoda (+121.6%) stands out in market up 20.9% – Finest Promoting Automobiles Weblog

Skoda more than doubles its sales year-on-year in Luxembourg

New car sales in Luxembourg climb 20.9% year-on-year in March to 5,246 units. This means the first quarter tally is up 15.9% to 13,149. The brands podium entirely outpaces the market: Volkswagen (+27.5%) holds the top spot with 9.9% share above BMW (+51.2%) and Audi (+26.8%). #1 a year ago, Mercedes (+0.7%) is relegated to 4th place for the month but ranks #3 YTD above Audi. Skoda (+121.6%) lodges the biggest year-on-year gain in the Top 10 (and Top 25), with Renault (+46%) and Opel (+22%) also above the market growth. Fiat (+20.4%) matches the overall evolution and Tesla (-3.7%) posts an uncharacteristic drop.

Previous month: Luxembourg February 2023: Cupra (+366.7%) breaks records, sales up 12.6%

One year ago: Luxembourg March 2022: Mercedes #1, Tesla (+92.1%), Opel (+58.3%) impress in market down -12.7%
