Our sleepy girl mocktail is the perfect pre-bedtime bevvie! Made with tart cherry juice, elderberry syrup, a little maple, fresh lime juice, and topped with our favorite flavor of LMNT sparkling electrolyte water — black cherry lime.
We all know that the sleepy girl mocktail trend has been around the block a few times, but we’re here to take things up a notch with our friends at LMNT. They are our go-to electrolyte brand, and ooohhhhmg their black cherry lime sparkling electrolyte water flavor is absolutely made for a sleepy girl mocktail 😃
If you’ve never had LMNT, it’s our favorite electrolyte brand. We love that there is no added sugar or other preservatives and that not only do you get sodium and potassium, but also magnesium — which is a huge added bonus. We live on this stuff for workouts, postpartum, and yes, even this sleepy girl mocktail.
Go ahead and run yourself a bath, and make this mocktail for a cozy night at home. It’s hydrating, packed with electrolytes and antioxidants, and super super delicious.
Sleepy Girl Mocktail Ingredients
- LMNT Sparkling Electrolyte Water, Black Cherry Lime Flavor: The star of the show! We absolutely love this flavor for this mocktail. The black cherry and lime flavors pair perfectly with the rest of the drink and adds a nice effervescence.
- Tart Cherry Juice: Because it contains melatonin, tart cherry juice can help support your sleep*.
- Elderberry Syrup: Known for supporting the immune system*, elderberry syrup was an obvious choice for this mocktail.
- Maple Syrup: Sweeten things up a bit with one of our go-to natural sweeteners, maple syrup!
- Fresh Lime Juice: A squeeze of fresh lime juice adds a nice tartness to this mocktail. Slice yourself a lime wedge too for garnish.
Why We Love LMNT
We’re so excited to announce our newest partner that makes this recipe possible – LMNT! Talk about a dream brand to work with 🤩
We first heard of LMNT from our gal Nourish Move Love years ago and have been hooked on this brand ever since. LMNT comes in a variety of flavors and you can buy it as a sparkling electrolyte beverage or in convenient little single serve packets. The cans are new to me and I’ve been loving them and so has the team. We love how salty they are and TBH, they really are perfect in this mocktail 😛
Each LMNT Sparkling Electrolyte Water Contains:
- 1,000 mg Sodium
- 200 mg Potassium
- 60 mg Magnesium

LMNT Black Cherry Lime –> LMNT Citrus Salt
Tart Cherry Juice –> Cranberry Juice
Maple Syrup –> Our Homemade Honey Simple Syrup
Elderberry Syrup –> Omit if it’s too hard to find or you don’t have any on hand
This recipe isn’t too sweet; we prefer a more tart sleepy girl mocktail. You can easily adjust the sweetness level by using more or less maple syrup!
