The storied Model XD (Xtreme Duty) pistol from Springfield Armory has seen many evolutions over the years such as a Mod.2, XDM (Xtreme Duty Match), and even an XDM Elite. Now, Springfield Armory has created an even newer presentation of this firearm with the unveiling of the Springfield Armory XD Mod.3 handgun.

The XD series has had a lot of changes over the years as we previously mentioned, but this newest iteration might exhibit the most drastic amount of change yet. With the amount of features that are instilled in the new XD Mod.3, these pistols should be a tremendous hit for Springfield.
