What to Expect
Guests can take a free wagon ride through the orchard and pick from 20+ varieties of apples growing on more than 4,000 trees or visit the pumpkin patch. Everything is u-pick, so grab a bag for apples or a wagon for pumpkins. Inside the country market, watch the staff press cider and make donuts, and purchase in-season produce like honey, jellies, jams, and seasonal décor. Don’t forget a refreshing apple cider slushie to pair with your apple cider donut.
Pro tip: Apples are in season beginning of September, and pumpkins are available later in September and early October. Don’t forget to dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes to make it an enjoyable visit.
There’s more fall fun where that came from. Other seasonal favorites include the Apple Store at Conner Prairie, Spencer Farm, and Russell Farms Pumpkin Patch.
