Suzuki is ultra dominant in Ivory Coast.
New vehicle sales soar 20.6% year-on-year in 2022 to 24,402 units. Suzuki (+85.5%) vastly outpaces the market to reach an ultra-dominant 36.5% share vs. 23.7% a year ago. Toyota (+14.6%) sees its share go from 13.3% in 2021 to 12.7% now, but easily manages to remain in 2nd place. Mitsubishi (+19.9%) gains two spots to round out the podium despite trailing the market. The Japanese manufacturer takes advantage of the freefall of Renault (-16.2%) and Nissan (-19.4%). Hyundai (-13.1%), Great Wall (-14.2%) and Mazda (-4.7%) are also in difficulty where Sinotruk (+13.8%) is up two ranks to #7.
