A burger is a simple yet classic staple on the American food menu. The concept is simple – burger patty sandwiched between two buns, topped with cheese, lettuce, pickles, mayo or whatever your heart desires. But the simplicity allows for mouthwatering possibilities with unique twists – think peanut butter or even an egg.

We worked with our friends at Yelp Indy to find the top places for a burger in Hamilton County. Did your favorite make the list? Read on to find out.

Methodology: This is an all-time list of the top 10 restaurants with burgers in Hamilton County according to Yelp. We identified businesses in the restaurant category that mentioned burgers in reviews and are not part of a national chain, then ranked those spots using a number of factors including the total volume and ratings of reviews. This list was updated in January 2024.

Other popular burgers include the Bourbon Burger with peppercorn-bourbon glaze, Provençal with herbed goat cheese, and Melt Your Face with all things habanero and jalapeño.
