On April 27th, you will be able to feel the true magic of Puglia by the hands of a countrywoman. The dinner will have 5 moments, all of them traditional dishes, accompanied by carefully selected wines from the region.

Puglia is a southern region that forms the heel of the “boot” of Italy, and is known for its coastal towns with white hills, miles of Mediterranean coastline and rustic farmlands. Not only is it a historical site of tremendous beauty, it has an exceptional gastronomy.

Sublime surprised us and brought the region to us with a “Pugliese”, Maria di Ceglie, who will be in the middle of the Davvero restaurant, preparing the famous Italian pasta. The dinner will have 5 moments, all of them traditional dishes, accompanied by carefully selected wines from the Puglia region! An authentic front row show!

To celebrate “La Dolce Vita”, the menu designed for the first night of travel without leaving Lisbon, begins with a welcome cocktail “L’essenza Pugliese”, followed by an antipasto “Panzerotto classico e Panzerotto nero” a classic of Italian cuisine. The pugliese immersion follows with the first course, an “Orecchiette” of toasted wheat, sprouts and crusty bread with anchovies and garlic”. Another classic follows, as befits a menu that complements the visualization of Puglia, with a dried fava bean puree, grilled octopus, cherry tomatoes, and black olive crumble. It will end big with a “Pasticiotto” with pastry cream and ginga, bitter almond ice cream and coffee gelatin. The tasting menu is inspired by the Italian culinary tradition, but especially pugliese, proposes a journey through the classics of the country’s cuisine by Chef Mauro Abignente and Maria di Ceglie.
