The Springfield Armory Echelon has a new little brother in the mix with the announcement of the Echelon 4.0C 9mm. This new standard of vernacular from Springfield refers to this smaller handgun having a 4″ barrel and being a compact frame size. This brings even further options to an already expansive family of popular pistols.

The nice thing about the new Echelon 4.0C 9mm handgun is that it shares a tremendous amount attributes with its full-size counterpart in the Echelon 4.5F. From the way that optics are mounted down to the finish on the parts, much is the same except for the dimensions.
