When designing the Danner x Filson Trail 2650 Mid, we envisioned a lightweight option that still adhered to our strict durability benchmarks—and the demands of the outdoors. This hiker meets that standard. The ultra-lightweight EVA foam midsole provides the cushioning you need while minimizing weight. The midsole is formed around a TPU shank that guards your foot in uncertain terrain and provides torsional strength. This process maximizes weight savings and maintains protection, stability and durability.
