You’re probably thinking, ok ok, another Jennifer Aniston Salad post? We’ve made it, we love it, let’s get over it.
But this blog post is different. The Jennifer Aniston quinoa salad you think you know, is in fact, not the REAL salad at all.
The Jennifer Aniston Salad ingredients apparently includes quinoa, chickpeas, parsley, red onion, cucumber and more. We’ve really heard it all at this point when it comes to variations. And no shade to those recipes. They’re delicious and easy to make. So much so, that we’re even sharing this one with you.
But recently Jen explained the REAL salad she was obsessed with on the set of Friends. The story is that the salad was from commissary on set and it was a Cobb salad they decided “to butcher.” AKA, tons of modifcations. We love a specific order, don’t we?
So with that, let’s get to the truth of the matter.
The REAL Jennifer Aniston Salad
shredded iceberg lettuce
chopped tomatoes
chikpeas
sliced salami
super crunchy turkey bacon
grilled chicken
Pecorino cheese
That’s it. Mix it all up in a big bowl and enjoy your REAL Jennifer Anniston salad.
But we’ll say it again, feel free to try the amazing variations out there. You can modify it to your taste and add a greener lettuce like spinach or Romaine (because as Jen says, iceberg has no nutritional value), throw in a steak instead of chicken or some quinoa for protein, and the feta cheese addition in this recipe has us drooling.
