Tomorrowland is not just a music festival. It’s a feeling. It’s a movement. It’s right up there with my wedding day. Tomorrowland is without question the best music festival in the world. But getting a ticket to the festival is more than difficult. Tomorrowland 2019 tickets will sell out in mere minutes. I’ve been lucky enough to go to the festival 4 times, so I want to share with you how to score tickets to Tomorrowland. Here’s my comprehensive guide to get to Tomorrowland.
In case you aren’t familiar, Tomorrowland is the largest electronic dance music festival in the world. It does a phenomenal job of combining the best DJs, absolutely incredible decorations, mesmerizing fireworks displays, and people from more than 200 countries celebrating life. Every year people from all over the world register for Tomorrowland tickets and are glued to their computer screens to go to one of the most coveted festivals in the world. It’s not cheap to go. Tomorrowland takes place about half an hour from Brussels in the area of De Schorre, specifically the aptly named Boom, Belgium.
When is Tomorrowland 2024?
Tomorrowland is taking place on two weekends for 2024. It’s the last two weekend in July: 19 – 21st and 26 – 28th. The Gathering, which is the pre-festival event for campers in Dreamville, takes place the Thursday before: July 18th and then July 25th for weekend 2.
This year Tomorrowland is celebrating 15 years!
Where is Tomorrowland?
Tomorrowland takes place in Boom, Belgium. This small town transforms into a party scene. Usually a quiet town they display the Tomorrowland flags on their windows during the festival. You can get to the festival via buses. They run buses throughout various nearby cities that will take you directly to the festival. You can also grab a taxi or drive to the festival.
When do Tomorrowland Tickets go on sale?
Tomorrowland tickets have a few different sales. The WorldWide Pre-Sale is January 27, 2024 at 17 CET (5pm CET). This is the first time you can get Tomorrowland tickets, full madness passes and DreamVille packages. Worldwide Ticket sales takes place Saturday February 3, 2024 at 17:00 CET (5pm CET).

There is also a Belgium pre-sale for those that are from Belgium that takes place before the WorldWide Pre-Sale.
Of course there is also the Global Journey ticket sale which happens Saturday January 20th at 5pm CET. If you want a guaranteed way to go, this is it. But expect to pay much more.
How do I get Tomorrowland tickets?
The first step for Tomorrowland tickets is to pre-register. You just need to add some basic contact information and you also need the information on the people you are purchasing tickers for. Tomorrowland does require that the name on the ticket matches the name of the ticket holder.
When is Tomorrowland Pre-Registration?
In order to buy tickets for Tomorrowland you must first pre-register. Pre-registration is open from December 5th, 2023 at 15:15 (3:15 CET) through February 1st 2019 at 20:00 (5pm) CET . You can pre-register for tickets right here.
The first 20 people from every country who register for Tomorrowland will have the possibility to buy a maximum of 4 Tomorrowland tickets through a dedicated link. You do not need to register for Global Journey.
How old do you need to be to get in to Tomorrowland?
In order to attend Tomorrowland you need to be at least 18 years or old. You do have to show proof of your ID at the festival gate.
How can I make sure I get tickets to Tomorrowland?
There is no guaranteed way to get tickets to Tomorrowland. It is a strictly first come, first serve basis. The tickets sell out almost immediately. Pre-registration for Tomorrowland doesn’t guarantee tickets. Tomorrowland tickets are broken up into two different ticket sales: pre-ticket sale and worldwide ticket sale. So you have two different chances to get tickets.
So, how have I managed to get tickets four times? I make sure I’m online on time, at least 20-30 minutes before. I open a few browser windows. I never, EVER use third party websites.
BONUS TIP: Make sure you let your credit card company know that you are making an international purchase. If you do get through the system and your payment doesn’t go through you could lose your tickets.
Types of Tomorrowland Tickets
There are a few types of tickets to Tomorrowland, I’ll break it down so it makes sense.
The individual day tickets or single day passes are each called by their day: Magical Friday, Incredible Saturday, and Glorious Sunday. These are each valid for one day of the festival.
Then there are the “Full Madness Passes” which offer you access all three days.
You can also add on things like “pleasure” which gives you access to the festival plus two different “comfort” zones. Think of these as VIP tickets. Then there are the Comfort passes which is the “V” VIP passes. This gives you access to the festival and all VIP zones.
There’s also the DreamVille packages. This is your camping. Dreamville ticket prices depend on what you choose. The basic is called DreamVille Magnificent Greens and there are also things like Easy Tent, Cabana, or Mansions. Depending on what you choose the price varies.
How much are tickets to Tomorrowland
Ticket prices are updated each year (I will be updating the prices). But 2024 tickets were as follows:

If for some reason you cannot go to the festival but have a ticket, you can give it back to Tomorrowland and they will sell it to someone on the waiting list.
Where do I stay for Tomorrowland?
Of course, you can stay at the festival ground in DreamVille. DreamVille is a great option if you want easy access to the festival. It’s one of the cheaper options as well, since hotels tend to be expensive. When you buy DreamVille tickets that also includes your access to the festival. They do allow you to bring in food and drinks into the camp grounds and there is food on site as well.
They do have what I would consider nice bathrooms (for camping, at least!) and areas to relax. If you buy a comfort or easy DreamVille ticket, they will actually set up your tent for you.
I personally like to stay in a hotel. I recommend this hotel in Mechelen. It’s where I’ve stayed all four years! There is a great breakfast and a bus stop just outside the hotel. Plus, it’s a lovely city.
How do I get to Tomorrowland?
There are a lot of options when it comes to getting to Tomorrowland. Global Journey is one of the best “experience” options and is much more expensive. The global journey package includes plane tickets to Brussels, DreamVille or a nearby hotel, access to three days of Tomorrowland, and if needed, transportation to the festival.
Typically, I buy plane tickets in January- before tickets go on sale, in order to get a cheaper flight. Once in Belgium transportation is pretty easy. There are buses and shuttles that go directly to Boom. It’s usually pretty cheap to take the bus and takes about 30 minutes to get to the town of Boom from our favorite hotel in Mechelen. You can also take a taxi cab.
The closest airport to Tomorrowland is Brussels Airport (BRU) and from there there are also shuttles that will take you from the airport directly to DreamVille.
What is the theme of Tomorrowland 2024?
The theme of Tomorrowland is the LIFE. Each year a new theme is decided and the various stages all work in harmony with the theme. This year marks the 20th anniversary of Tomorrowland.
What is the food like at Tomorrowland?
The food is really quite good at Tomorrowland. You will find all different kinds of options. From typical (and delicious) Belgian fries, Asian noodles, sausages, burgers, and more. There are lots of really tasty options. The prices are fairly reasonable as well.
How much is Tomorrowland?
You pay for everything with tokens that you can pre-purchase or purchase at the festival. Tomorrowland is a cashless festival

Who can you expect to see at Tomorrowland?
The top DJs in the world play at Tomorrowland and also up and coming acts. Some of my favorites from 2018 were Oliver Heldens, Alesso, Sam Feldt, W&W, Kaskade, Axwell and Ingrosso, Don Diablo, Martin Solveig, and Otto Knows.

What should I wear to Tomorrowland?
Tomorrowland is the perfect time to show your love for your country. Bring a flag or wear your country’s colors. It can get hot in the summer in Belgium.

What’s it like to go to the festival?
Tomorrowland is worth the hype. It’s such an incredible experience that I highly recommend to go at least one time! More countries are represented at Tomorrowland than at the Olympics! It’s truly a unique experience and the perfect way to feel connected. You’ll find the best music, crazy lazers, fireworks, and intricate displays. Tomorrowland makes sure to go the extra mile when it comes to this festival. It’s well organized, easy to get around, and safe. Each stage has it’s own theme with different types of music and decorations. For example, the stage on the water might have real flowers hanging down from the awning. The main stage might have acrobats performing as fire erupts from different areas.
Each year there is a new theme that tries to top the previous year. It’s so fun to see what they will come up with next.
Why go to Tomorrowland?
Tomorrowland is truly one of the best music festivals out there. It’s hard to describe in words just how wonderful this festival truly is. It’s the perfect combination of love, people, music, and happiness. It’s something that must be experienced. They stand by their motto to make every second legendary.
