The Ruger/Marlin 1895 SBL was launched just a few short years ago to much success and I think that just left the firearms world wanting more lever actions. Ruger/Marlin has just released their new Dark series 1895 lever action rifles featuring modern polymer furniture, a long top-mounted Picatinny rail, and chamberings in 30-30 Winchester, 44 Rem Mag, and of Course 45-70 Govt.
