And I was a big mouth breather. I was a snorer, which did get better with my double jaw surgery, but still. Now I’m not either of those things. Can anyone use these?

Mouth tape is for anyone who wants brighter eyes, a stronger jaw, and a more sculpted chin. Men and women can use mouth tape every single night. (We wouldn’t recommend these for children.)

How does mouth tape work exactly?

By taping your mouth shut you’re forced to breathe through your nose. When you’re awake you can consciously make an effort to breathe through your nose but it’s hard to do that when you’re sleeping. The Skinny Confidential mouth tape does that for you. 

What are the beauty benefits?

A stronger more defined jawline and chin, whiter eyes, better breath and way more energy in the mornings. What’s more beautiful than waking up chiseled, happy and rejuvenated?

What if I feel like I can’t breathe?

Try to relax. Take long deep breaths, in and out through your nose. Your body was made for nasal breathing. In fact, nasal breathing promotes relaxation. But, if you’re ever too uncomfortable, remove the tape. Take baby steps. It takes some getting used to. 

Should I wear mouth tape if I have a cold?

Again, do what you feel comfortable with, but nasal breathing encourages less mucus production and oral bacteria. However, if you’re really stuffed up, we recommend taking a break from mouth taping and resuming when you feel better. 

Will it hurt when I rip it off?

No. Just be sure to pull your skin taut and remove quickly. It’s like ripping off a bandaid. If you’re still worried about this we recommend shaving your face. For men with long mustaches or beards, we recommend a little Ice Queen Facial Oil on your hair before applying the tape.
