These US inns are celebrating Delight with occasions and reductions

Pride month is a time for great celebration, reflection and empowerment for members of the LGBTQIA+ community, supporters and allies — and here at TPG we honor that.

Throughout the month of June (and the rest of the year, considering many cities around the world celebrate at different times), there are plenty of incredible Pride events to attend. Events range from over-the-top parades and concerts to insightful panels and lectures about the history of the community and the challenges facing it.

Whether you’re looking to celebrate Pride close to home or you want to venture to one of the world-renowned celebrations in a major city, many hotels are offering special events, programming and discounts centered around inclusivity, diversity and the LGBTQIA+ community.

Below, you’ll find some of our favorites, from the Big Apple to the City by the Bay.

Show your Pride in New York City

NOMO SOHO

If you’re heading to New York City for the Pride parade June 25, consider booking with one of NYC Pride’s official hotel partners for a great rate and perks like free drinks and special events.

Those hotels include the Ink 48 Hotel in Hell’s Kitchen — a lively queer-forward neighborhood in Manhattan — which is offering 15% off stays in June, a $10 minibar credit, early check-in and late checkout when you book here.

Another great option is the Smyth Tribeca, which is offering 10% off rooms and suites in June, a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe king room, welcome cocktails for two and a Pride swag bag with a tote, water bottle, Pride flag and bath bomb when you book through this link.

Hilton, another official partner, has a range of promotions you can book with cash and earn points on your spending. At the Motto by Hilton New York City Chelsea, guests can book using this link to snag a $100 daily food and drink credit plus Pride swag; rooms currently start at $259 a night.

The Hilton New York Times Square is offering guests who book here breakfast for two and a picnic with a blanket, bag, snacks and wine (starting at $640 per night). For a less expensive option, consider Pride packages at the Hampton Inn Manhattan/Times Square Central, where rates during Pride are less than $300 per night and include daily free breakfast, plus goodies like a rainbow tote, flag, candy necklace and more if you book here.

There are more hotels in New York than official Pride partners — but that doesn’t mean they’re skipping out on the fun. At The Beekman, a Thompson Hotel (part of World of Hyatt), guests can book the Beekman Pride package to get a bottle of bubbles for the room, Pride-themed welcome treats, a complimentary room upgrade (if available), a Lower Manhattan Pride guide and two free Pride drinks from the bar.

At the newly opened Virgin Hotels New York City, Pride comes in many shapes and forms. The Pride & Joy packages come with a two-night stay June 23-25, a $100 credit toward the Queen Supreme brunch at the hotel restaurant Everdene, welcome cocktails, swag and late checkout. Throughout the month, the hotel will also host other Pride-themed events at Everdene and the Pool Club.

At NoMo Soho, the Fantasy Pride Package includes a Pride suite full of decorations, swag, a pair of satin NoMo SoHo pajamas, four Bacardi welcome drinks and a $25 dining credit. The hotel also shows out for Pride by lighting its iconic Crosby Street tunnel entrance in rainbow colors.

In California, there are Pride celebrations up and down the state, but the two major events are held in Los Angeles on June 11 and San Francisco on June 25.

In LA, the Godfrey Hotel Hollywood is offering 15% off the best available rate, a welcome amenity and two complimentary drinks at ALK when booking with the code LAPRDE. At the Thompson Hollywood, use the code STAYPROUD for the best available rate, a welcome gift and a bottle of wine; the hotel will also make a 10% donation to the Hollywood LGBT Center. The Mondrian Los Angeles Poolside Pride package offers guests an Evian water bottle, Rainbow fan, Liquid IV electrolyte drink mix and two Skybar drink tickets.

Up in San Francisco, the Hyatt Regency San Francisco, which recently underwent a $50 million renovation, has a Pride package through June 25 that includes an upgrade to a balcony room or suite and Pride cocktails at check-in. Maybe best of all, the hotel provides an invitation to the Pride parade viewing event in a corner suite overlooking the route (if you’re staying on the day of the actual parade). Rates during Pride weekend start at $212 per night, and you can book the package here.

Be proud everywhere else

Other Pride events happen worldwide throughout the year, so we shouldn’t leave them out of the lineup.

If you’re heading to Washington, D.C., for Capital Pride on June 10, consider rooting yourself in Alexandria, Virginia, at the Morrison House, part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection. With the ALX Pride Package, guests receive a welcome gift that includes a book from a local bookstore by an LGBTQIA+ author, dinner for two at The Study and two round-trip water taxi tickets to spend a day exploring The Wharf or National Harbor. For another option, consider The Alexandrian, which offers a similar package.

The Moxy Washington, DC Downtown is offering the Loud & Proud @ Moxy package, which includes sparkling rose wine, special sweet treats, welcome drinks at Bar Moxy and a copy of a local LGBTQ+ magazine when you use the code 8LG. Luckily, this package is on offer through the end of April 2024.

This year in Aspen, Colorado, the W Aspen is teaming up with local organization AspenOut for the first Aspen Pride on the weekend of June 2. Events at the W include a pool party on W Aspen’s Wetdeck, yoga classes with a side of Champagne, a mixology class, a Pride Ball Extravaganza and a comedy brunch show. Full details and special rates are on the W Aspen’s Pride page.

You can find other deals and packages at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel and a very pet-friendly offering at The Leta Santa Barbara Goleta, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. Or, if you want to start planning for next year, consider visiting Holland and Belgium for a queer-friendly riverboat cruise with Uniworld’s “Out on the River” series next April.

Lastly, Kimpton Hotels will bring back its popular BrunchOut drag brunch series to three hotels across the U.S. It’ll start with a performance by Lagoona Bloo at Kimpton Aertson Hotel in Nashville on June 25, followed by a performance in Atlanta on Oct. 15 and Palm Springs, California, on Nov. 5. You can purchase tickets here, or IHG One Rewards members can bid on tickets, starting at 15,000 points, here.
