Toyota Corolla #1, Yaris Cross and Volvo XC60 impress – Greatest Promoting Automobiles Weblog


The Toyota Yaris Cross is up to #4 in Finland in July.

6,281 new cars hit Finnish roads in July, a 16.9% year-on-year improvement, keeping in mind July 2022 was off -25.2% on the year prior. The year-to-date volume is now up 9.2% to 52,409. Toyota (+34.5%) easily tops the brands charts with 19.7% share vs. 17.6% so far this year. It distances Skoda (+47.8%) also in outstanding shape while Kia (+9.4%) is up two spots on June to #3. Volkswagen (-19.4%) struggles at #4 vs. #2 year-to-date, with Volvo (+79.9%) lodging another stellar performance at #5. BMW (+24.6%), Mercedes (+24.3%), Audi (+19.8%) and Peugeot (+17%) also beat the market in the remainder of the Top 10, whereas Ford (-27.5%) is hit hard. 

Over in the models lane, the Toyota Corolla (+34.1%) reclaims the top spot it holds year-to-date ahead of the Toyota Yaris (+25.6%) and Skoda Octavia (+63.5%). The Toyota Yaris Cross (+120.9%) and Volvo XC60 (+172.1%) both post splendid scores as do the Skoda Enyaq (+68.5%) and Toyota RAV4 (+33.3%) below. The Peugeot 2008 makes an appearance at #8, its first Top 10 finish in Finland since last August (#3). For its part the BMW i4 (+189.4%) climbs one spot on last month to #9 just as the VW ID.4 (+47.2%) rounds out the Top 10. The Opel Mokka (+1190%), Volvo XC40 (+93.1%), Skoda Kamiq (+135.9%) and Audi Q4 (+352.6%) also shine below.
