The Toyota Hilux is the most popular vehicle in Uganda in 2022.
2,959 new vehicles found a buyer in Uganda in 2022, a -3% year-on-year drop. Among them we have 2,169 light vehicles. Toyota reigns supreme with 64.2% share, distancing Nissan (10.9%), Ford (6.9%) and Isuzu (6.3%). Mitsubishi rounds out the Top 5 above Tata, Suzuki and Mazda. Model-wise, the Toyota Hilux is the most popular with a stunning 19.3% share, above the Toyota Prado, Land Cruiser and Land Cruiser Pickup. The Isuzu TFS (aka D-Max) is the best of the rest at #5.
