The Latvian new car market soars 16.5% year-on-year in 2022 to 16,713 units. This year the Toyota RAV4 (+45.1%) surges ahead to #1 in the charts for the first time, dislodging the Toyota Corolla (-21.6%) after three years of reign. The VW T-Cross (+45.5%) is also very impressive and gains one spot to end the year on the third step of the podium, distancing the VW Tiguan (+39.4%) up two to #4. The Dacia Duster (+74.8%) posts the largest gain in the Top 10 and advances from #9 last year to #5. The Kia Ceed (+60.8%), Toyota C-HR (+37.9%), Nissan Qashqai (+32.6%) and Skoda Kodiaq (+22.1%) also beat the market.
