The Renault Express is up to #2 in Moldova in September.
Based on data shared with us by our local partner CE Auto, new car sales in Moldova advance 14.4% year-on-year in September to 787, leading to a year-to-date tally up 12.8% to 6,154. The Toyota RAV4 (+16.7%) climbs to the top spot this month but is stuck in 4th place year-to-date. The Renault Express gains seven ranks on August to #2 while the Kia Sportage (-48.5%) implodes at #3 but remains by far the year-to-date best-seller. The Skoda Kodiaq (+39.1%) is in great shape year-on-year but below its YTD level at #4 and 4.1% share vs. #3 and 6.1% so far this year. The Dacia Logan (+20.8%) is back inside the Top 10 at #6 just as the Ford Kuga and Haval H6 point their bonnet at equal #8.
