Toyota holds 19.3% of the Ukrainian market in August.
New car sales in Ukraine double year-on-year in August at +98% to 5,790. This means the year-to-date tally is now up 57% to 38,159 units. Toyota (+49.1%) halves the market growth but easily retains the brands top spot with 19.3% share vs. 17% so far this year. Volkswagen (+265.9%) overtakes Renault (+143.2%) to rank #2 with 10.6% of the market. BMW (+119.8%) and Skoda (+144.7%) exchange positions vs. July and round out the Top 5. Below, notice Suzuki (+3366.7%), Peugeot (+267.4%), Kia (+463.6%), Citroen (+222.9%) and Land Rover (+400%). Chery (#18) leads Chinese brands above MG (#20), BYD (#22), FAW (#25), Haval (#27) and Dongfeng (#30).
