Toyota Yaris Cross and Yaris high market up 25.4% – Finest Promoting Vehicles Weblog


The Toyota Yaris Cross is the best-selling vehicle in Poland in March.

The Polish new car market surges 25.4% year-on-year in March to 48,363 sales, meaning the Q1 result is up 20.2% over the same period last year to 120,563. Toyota (+51.4%) doubles the market growth rate to 19% share, while #2 Skoda (+68%) does even better but is far below at 10.9% share. Kia (+1.6%) is weak but stays #3, Volkswagen (+25%) matches the market at #4 making sure the Top 4 is identical to YTD and FY2022. Audi (+17.7%) climbs to #5 despite trailing the market, with BMW (+1.7%) and Hyundai (-16%) underperforming below. Mazda (+93.9%), Opel (+52.2%) and Peugeot (+39.7%) shine further down the ranking.

Model-wise, Toyota monopolises the podium as it also does year-to-date. The Toyota Yaris Cross (+189.6%) scores a 2nd win in the past 3 months but stays #2 year-to-date below the Toyota Yaris (+57.3%), in 2nd place this month. The Toyota Corolla (-4.6%) is in difficulty at #3. The Skoda Octavia (+458.8%) surges back up to #4 ahead of the Toyota C-HR (+89%). On the podium a year ago, the Kia Sportage (+0.5%) only edges up and falls to #6. The Dacia Duster (+32.9%) and VW T-Roc (+77.3%) shine below. The new Toyota Corolla Cross stays at #9 with the Hyundai Tucson (+7.5%) closing the Top 10.
