Transfer over, N: Here is the wildest-looking Hyundai Ioniq 5

A slammed Hyundai Ioniq 5 has been revealed, featuring a new custom-made body kit.

The modified electric car concept is the work of a company called Platinum Auto Workshop based in Indonesia.

A YouTube video follows the two-day process of constructing the vehicle, including the assembly of custom parts and the application of its distinctive exterior colour.

The video is in Indonesian however, when translated, Andra from Platinum Auto Workshop says he wanted “to make a street racing concept” using the Ioniq 5 which the body shop later plans to mass-produce and market locally.

The company started with a brand new Ioniq 5 Prime – the Indonesian-market base model – as its base.

The additional bodywork was constructed on top of the car so in the future if the customer chooses to return the Ioniq 5 to stock, the vehicle will be unaffected.

Each panel is carefully handmade and stuck onto the vehicle. Custom panels like the diffuser, front bumper and spoiler were created specifically for this concept.

The spoiler and diffuser receive a carbon fibre-like finish before being installed onto the vehicle, while the car gets a unique coral-like colour which Andra says was chosen because it’s “very rare”.

It’s not clear yet how much the Coga body kit will cost or when mass production is set to begin.

The vehicle debuted at the Indonesian Modification Expo which is somewhat similar to America’s SEMA show.
