Travel and expense management platform TravelBank has added sustainability data for flights to its booking platform through a partnership with sustainability specialist Squake, the company announced.
The partnership enables TravelBank users to see and compare carbon emission data when booking flights based on “advanced” metrics including aircraft type and routing, according to TravelBank. Sustainability ratings for hotels and data for ground transportation based on factors such as fuel type, car type and engine efficiency will be available in the “near future,” according to the company.
In addition, TravelBank plans to integrate Squake features into its main dashboard so that travel administrators can view emissions data for individual travelers or across the company.
