Norwegian tech startup Travelin.AI has signed its first online booking tool contract with Maryland-based Safe Harbors Business Travel, CEO and co-founder Roy Golden told BTN.
Safe Harbors selected the booking platform both for its “clean, user-friendly look” and the capability to support “travelers in today’s world of flexibility and adding a leisure component often requested by travelers,” Safe Harbors president Jay Ellenby said. Helping travelers manage blended business and leisure trips is a special focus for Travelin.AI, via enabling booking via a single profile and separating out expenses for leisure travel.
Safe Harbors’ OBT agreement with Travelin.AI comes via the tech company’s agreement with international travel management company network Lufthansa City Center, in which LCC has listed Travelin.AI as a preferred supplier.
Golden told BTN that the company now is focusing on “a seamless implementation process” and that the partnership will help the company further innovate its platform. “By working hand in hand, we aim to gain valuable insights into their customers’ requirements, which will allow us to enhance our platform accordingly,” he said.
