Travel technology provider TripStax has hired David Chappell as chief strategy officer, a new position in the company to help guide its commercial direction, the company announced.
Chappell joins TripStax from travel industry software supplier Midoco, and he previously was a technology leader at travel management companies Fello Travel and Gray Dawes Group. At TripStax, he will help align the commercial strategy to “the ever-evolving needs of customers in a rapidly changing technology landscape” as the company “continues to expand globally,” according to TripStax CEO Jack Ramsey.
TripStax launched last year as a spinoff of TMC ATPI, making its technology available to TMCs and corporate customers via modules connected to a central data processing system.
