Newly launched Abu Dhabi-based business travel platform Tumodo has raised $35 million in a pre-seed financing round led by angel investors in the Middle East and North Africa regions, the company announced.
Tumodo, which launched in 2023, connects to “all major distribution channels and global hotel chains” and works with more than 400 airlines, according to the company. More than 100 business in the MENA region currently use the platform for booking flights and hotels.
The funding round will help Tumodo build its presence with customers in the United Arab Emirates, gain new partners in the MENA region and further develop its products, according to Tumodo. The company also is working on an AI feature to help with trip organization.
