U.K.-based booking technology provider Vibe has integrated U.K. rail inventory and fares from Trainline Partner Solutions, the B-to-B segment of European rail ticketing seller Trainline.
The integration includes booking capabilities of Trainline features, such as split ticketing—splitting a train journey into multiple shorter trips, which can offer savings—and user exchanges, according to Vibe. Tickets can be serviced both online and offline via Vibe.
“We want to make booking rail tickets a simple and seamless experience for all travelers, with business travelers booking through [travel management companies] or corporate buyers enjoying the same retail experience as they do when buying their own leisure tickets direct from Trainline,” Trainline Partner Solutions director of global distribution Liz Emmott said in a statement.
TMCs that plan to use the rail service with Vibe include Agiito and CocoPlus, a start-up TMC focused on sustainability that launched last year.
