Volvo XC40, C40 Recharge recalled

Volvo Australia has recalled the XC40 and C40 Recharge electric SUVs to fix a problem with the front suspension.

“Due to a manufacturing defect, the left front suspension ball joint may have been incorrectly attached. This may result in a loss of vehicle control,” the brand says in its recall notice.

“A loss of vehicle control increases the risk of an accident causing serious injuries or death to the vehicle occupants and/or other road users.”

“Owners of affected vehicles can contact their nearest authorised Volvo dealer to have the vehicle inspected as soon as possible and have the work carried out free of charge.”
