2023 Highlights

To simplify your studio visit itinerary, 2023’s Philadelphia Open Studio Tours are organized relative to Broad Street.

On POST days, participating studios are open from noon to 6 p.m. and you can find the interactive studio map here.

October 14-15, 2023

The first weekend of POST (October 14 and 15), studios and galleries east of Broad Street are open for events and tours.

Weekend No. 1 includes Paradigm Gallery + Studio (12 N. 3rd Street), Crane Arts (1400 N. American Street) and the multi-studio Bok Building (800 Mifflin Street), among other studios and galleries in neighborhoods like FishtownQueen Village, and Old City.

October 21-22, 2023

For the second POST weekend (October 21 and 22), studios and galleries west of Broad Street will be open for events and tours.

The weekend No.2 lineup includes Gravers Lane Gallery (8405 Germantown Avenue), the Institute of Contemporary Art (118 S. 36th Street) and The Center for Emerging Visual Artists (237 S. 18th Street, #3A), along with other creative spaces in areas like University CityManayunk, and Germantown.

Special Events

Looking to get crafty in between tours? This year’s Philadelphia Open Studio Tours offer plenty to do during the art hop, including special events like:

  • Silkscreen Demo at Crane Old School: Watch the entire silkscreen process in action, from mixing inks to screenprinting techniques (October 14, 2023).
  • The DVAA Artist Market at Palumbo Park: The Da Vinci Art Alliance hosts an outdoor art gallery with creative works for sale by several local artists and vendors (October 15, 2023).
