The Colorado Trail Preservation Alliance (TPA) is a nonprofit organization that advocates for Off-Highway-Vehicle (OHV) recreation to ensure that the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) and Bureau of Land Management (BLM) reserve a fair percentage of access to trail riding on public lands in some of the most desirable states for those activities.
The TPA also educates riders on trail etiquette and supports the operation of local off-road motorcycle clubs. These clubs further the TPA’s mission of preserving motorized single-track riding (including ATVs, UTVs, 4WDs, and snowmobiles) in their respective areas. Finally, the TPA also hosts the wildly popular and challenging Colorado 600, a 4-day organized trail riding event and symposium based out of South Fork, Colo.
What You Could Win: Customized KTM XC-W and Haulin Toy Hauler
A 2024 KTM 300 XC-W ($11,499 MSRP) motorcycle and a Haulin Trailer Summit Camper are up for grabs. This incredible package will have you riding, hauling, and camping with a first-class and enviable setup.
The KTM 300 XCW is a proven two-stroke platform for enduros and trail riding. Fuel injection helps deliver low-end torque that is hard to come by on two strokes while the bike still maintains the top-end fury these motors make. And that old “mixing gas, hauling a$$” is out the door, as this KTM has automatic oil injection.
KTM off-road chassis are legendary for handling, as the Austrian brand still uses steel, which has the flex characteristics aluminum frames cannot claim. It’s hard to argue the brand’s more than 126 World Enduro Titles.
The Haulin Summit Camper will have your riding and camping with convenience and style. The 13-foot camper has a bed that pops out the driver’s side of the trailer and a rooftop tent, allowing up to three people to sleep inside with their bikes.
A solar-assisted air conditioner, heater, fridge, water system, stove, interior lighting, and sound system will keep you comfortable regardless of conditions. An exterior awning delivers shade and rain protection. Finally, heavy-duty 6″ steel I-beam construction and 3,500-pound axle springs ensure the durability of this toy hauler.
Both the bike and trailer are customized with a slew of aftermarket upgrades and graphics.
