Wyndham Hotels & Resorts will bring its extended-stay Wyndham Residence brand to the United States through a new partnership with residential hospitality management company Reside, the companies announced Monday.
Under the terms of the 10-year deal between Wyndham and Reside, five new or planned U.S. properties will carry the Residence brand alongside the Reside name. Two are already open: the 79-room Reside Houston Downtown and the 55-room Reside Seattle Downtown, with two more planned for Washington, D.C., and another slated for New Orleans. Each will carry the Wyndham Residence branding, joining existing Residences in Greece and the United Arab Emirates, according to Wyndham.
These properties will be available in Wyndham’s distribution channels and guests will earn Wyndham Rewards loyalty points, according to the company.
“Reside’s model expands our extended-stay offerings, delivering premium, professionally managed accommodations in locations we know guests want to visit,” Wyndham chief development officer Amit Sripathi said in a statement.
Wyndham in a statement noted the recent expansion of its extended-stay offerings, including the July debut of its economy extended-stay Echo brand and the addition in April of 11 WaterWalk properties to its portfolio.
Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
